How do I upgrade to MovieSlate 8?

Unfortunately the App Store does not support support paid upgrades. MovieSlate 8 is not a free update and needs to be purchased even if you had previously purchased MovieSlate 7 or earlier.

MovieSlate 7 is compatible with devices running iOS 6, 7, and 8. If MovieSlate 7 is meeting your needs on those platforms you can certainly keep using it and any plugins you've purchased on your account. For instructions, please see: Restoring MovieSlate 7 on your iOS device

MovieSlate 8 is compatible with devices running iOS 9, and 10. New and improved features are only available in MovieSlate 8, which was released in August 2015.

MovieSlate 8 changes the way professional features like LTC Timecode Sync and Sound Department are purchased. Features sold as individual plugins in MovieSlate 7 are now bundled into a single subscription or purchase. MovieSlate 7 plugin purchases are not transferrable to MovieSlate 8.
